Steven Miller Racing 4 STEM Education is a distinguished charitable organization with a steadfast commitment to inspiring youth through the world of motorsports. The organization is dedicated to educating young individuals from various communities about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) by integrating motorsports design concepts into its programs. This initiative aims to ignite passion and foster learning in these vital fields
Our mission is to integrate storytelling, role-model strategies, and motorsports-inspired project-based learning into a STEM Curriculum. This program is designed to enhance STEM education for middle school-aged girls and underrepresented racial and ethnic groups. The programs will incorporate social and embodied dimensions through collaborative learning and mentorship to improve STEM curricula and instructional methods. Project-based activities foster teamwork and peer interactions, and personalized mentorship from role models of similar gender, racial, and/or ethnic backgrounds provides essential support and inspiration. Our goals aims to facilitate the development of more effective and equitable STEM education strategies tailored to the diverse experiences of all students.

Steven Miller Racing 4 STEM Education is founded with the mission to empower students and youth from various communities, fostering intellectual growth and moral development while providing enriching experiences through teamwork, competitive racing events, STEM education, and various programs. These programs focus on using motorsports and gravity-powered miniature cars, along with other hands-on activities, to promote STEM education and youth engagement. They include STEM-based education programs for including, but not limited to, schools, youth groups, police youth programs, and/or youth clubs.
Interactive presentations and mentorship opportunities are led by including, but not limited to, Steven Maximus Miller, a national-level karting champion race driver, and/or Science Coach, Dr. Tiffany C. Miller, Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering.
Participants in the program may start with a presentation introducing pre-engineering concepts related to race car driving and working on one or more age appropriate projects associated with miniature model race cars. Motorsports design concepts, encompassing a broad range of principles and techniques used in creating vehicles and equipment for competitive racing events, draw from disciplines like aerodynamics, vehicle dynamics, materials science, powertrain engineering, safety engineering, ergonomics, data analysis, and innovation. The program may incorporate simulation models to reinforce concepts introduced during the program.
These programs aim to inspire and educate youth from various communities about science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) disciplines by connecting them with real-world applications, such as motorsports design concepts. Through hands-on experiences, interactive presentations, and engaging activities, students are encouraged to explore STEM subjects and consider future career paths in related fields.
The core values of these initiatives include youth education and leadership development, family engagement, honesty, integrity, perseverance, innovation, entrepreneurship, teamwork, collaboration, mentoring, volunteerism, and commitment to the community. Overall, these programs provide meaningful experiences and opportunities for youth to learn, grow, and succeed.
Steven Miller Racing 4 STEM Education was established in 2024, following Steven M. Miller’s success in securing multiple national-level pro karting championship titles. His achievements have inspired many aspiring young drivers to pursue careers in motorsports. Building on this inspiration, Steven Miller Racing 4 STEM Education is dedicated to its mission of educating youth from diverse communities about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). The organization aims to connect students with real-world applications, including motorsports design concepts, to foster engagement and learning in these critical fields.
