Steven Miller Claims a Pair of ROK Fest East Titles
“Miller focuses on next event this weekend in Florida.”
August 8, 2022 – It was a winning weekend at the New York Race Complex for Steven Miller at the ROK Fest East program. Taking on a pair of classes, Sun Print sponsored driver Steven Miller earned a pair of ROK Fest East Championships as he took top honors in both VLR Junior and ROK Junior to assert himself as the dominant Junior driver over the weekend.
“What a great weekend for myself and the team,” expressed the Chad Dokken Racing driver. “To leave a facility that I have never raced at before with a pair of race wins and ROK Fest East championships is great. I am fully focused on the rest of the season and seeing what we can do as the year continues and into the ROK Vegas race event.”
As the driver to beat, Miller earned the VLR Junior title and accompanying $1000 prize along with a ROK Vegas Ticket that includes entry, tires, fuel and oil. Doubling up on his winnings, the ROK Junior title yielded Miller $2500 and a ROK Vegas invite included all the same benefits making his weekend value of winnings over $6000.00!
Miller continued, “Thank you ROK Cup USA, ROK Cup Promotions and Chad Dokken Racing for a great weekend. Winnings like this can go a long way for my karting program and I am fully committed to stand on the top step of the podium in ROK Vegas not one time, but two.”
With no time off, Steven Miller will be back on track this weekend for rounds three and four of the Sunshine State Karting Challenge at the Orlando Kart Center. With the event taking place August 13 and 14th, Miller and Chad Dokken Racing are hoping to continue their success.
